Today is the last day of our summer vacation, so we decided to do something special. After my nap we went to Ontario Beach Park and rode the famous carousel that I love so much. Mommy and I were there the day it opened for the season, and today we got to enjoy a final couple of rides. After that we walked along the pier and enjoyed watching the boats. Then we made our way to the portside restaurant Cheeburger Cheeburger for a yummy supper. What fun!

This smilebox story in pictures and music made me feel so sad that the summer days of play with Annabelle are at an end for Mommy and Daddy. Such a good idea to go back to a place that holds so many happy and sweet memories. What a wonderful picture of mommy and daddy as they soaked up all the goodness of a day with Annabelle at summer's end.
I must echo Grammy Kati - the pics brought tears to my eyes. The love is so tangible in the photos. And all I could think of was how beautiful you are, Annabelle. The looks on your face in several photos are almost yearning - it's almost as if you understand the bittersweet moment. The memories you're making with Mommy & Daddy will last a lifetime.
