Happy Birthday to ME!

Now I am 3!!!

Yesterday was my third birthday and I have had tons of fun celebrating. Here are a few highlights:

On Tuesday I skyped with Aunt Jerri and Zoe so they could watch me open their gifts. I love my cozy hippo sleeping bag/pillow and I can't wait to get my first issue of Ladybug Magazine. Thanks, Aunt Jerri, Uncle Mark, and Cousin Zoe!

On Wednesday afternoon Mommy and Daddy surprised me with an early birthday present for my "Birthday Eve" - my new TURTLE SANDBOX! Hurray!

Over the past few days I have received lots of awesome birthday cards (I LOVE getting mail!) from my two sets of Great Grandmas and Grandpas, one Great Aunt and Uncle, two Grandpas I don't even really know, Uncle Jeff and Aunt Kathy (they sent TWO cards, and both had extra fun coloring activities on the back!). And lots of the cards had MONEY in them, which I am saving up for something very special. I also enjoyed a Birthday Eve skype with Gram Marie and Grampa Larry, and Happy Birthday phone calls from Aunt Jerri and Zoe, Aunt Jennifer, and Gram Marie and Grampa Larry again. Wow - thanks everybody!

Yesterday morning when I woke up Mommy and Daddy sang Happy Birthday to me and brought me downstairs for some more surprises...a dollhouse, a drum, and a cookbook!

Peekaboo!

Daddy tried out my drum while I continued to enjoy my dollhouse.

They even let me eat a little piece of cake for breakfast! I liked putting the 3 candles on myself, and blowing them out. But I only actually ate one bite of the cake.

My friends from Miss Chris's house skyped me to sing Happy Birthday!

Mommy and I took it easy during the morning and stayed home to play. I did my 3 year old handprints for my birthday scrapbook and then spent about an hour painting. I love mixing the colors!

Last night we went out to dinner...I had been talking about going to Red Robin for a couple of weeks but at the last second I chose Applebee's, just like last year.

I gobbled up all of my chicken fingers and fries!

I wasn't so sure I liked it when they came to sing to me this year - I hid my face and told Mommy and Daddy it was "TOO LOUD!" But I did enjoy turning the ice cream sundae into "milkshake soup" and drinking some of it with a straw.

Tomorrow I will continue my birthday fun with a very special Teddy Bear Tea Party! Yippee! I can't wait! What a lucky birthday girl I am.

I LOVE all the little photos and videos but my favorite when the video when Mommy & Daddy sing to you. What a serious little face, followed by your sweet smile. Happy 3rd Birthday, Sweet Annabelle! Love you lots - GramMarie
