Zoo Boo 2009

I love my giraffe costume (well, except for the hood) and what better place to debut such a cute little animal than the Zoo Boo?

3rd Annual Pumpkin Carving

Saturday night marked out 3rd annual Pumpkin Carving festivities.
(Click to see the 1st and 2nd annual events.)

Daddy and I get busy with the design phase:

Listen to how grateful I am when I hear that Daddy is making this Jack-o-lantern for ME!

Daddy takes off my pumpkin's head and shows me the guts - his red eyes just add to the creepiness. I'm not quite sure how I feel about this!

Back to work on my own masterpiece:

The final result:

Outside to set up our little Pumpkin / Jack-o-lantern Family!

Open House

Last Thursday Mommy and I went to Open House at her school. She is actually teaching in 3 different schools this year, but this is the Open House at the school she's been teaching at for the last 4 years, and the one that all of my Webster friends go to. We met up with Miss Chris, Maggie and Courtney (Bridget was home sick), saw Maggie's and Bridget's classrooms, and got to enjoy some yummy ice cream in the cafeteria. I saw TONS of my other Webster friends too! It was so much fun. A highlight of my evening was visiting Traci's classroom and playing with her "reading buddies." What a fun night!

Maggie's Desk!

Traci and her many reading buddies!

Back to Traci's classroom for more fun!

Happy Half Birthday to Me!

Today is my HALF birthday. I am 2 1/2 years old! I had a glorious day with Miss Chris which included our weekly visit to the library for story time. When I got home I spent almost a whole hour with my coat still on, wearing one backpack and carrying another, pretending to be going to school.

Practicing my ABC's (a favorite pastime of late)

Mommy and I went for a quick trip to the store to pick out a candle for my cake...I got my heart set on this little dolly for a half birthday present! Welcome to the family, baby Emily!

Time for my yummy cake! Mommy found me a special Halloweenish one with a spider on it!

Making a wish and blowing out the candle!

Time to eat...I got the piece with the spider (and LOTS of frosting) of course!

How old are you Annabelle?

And here are a few video clips!

I enjoyed playing in this puppet theater and using it for my "restaurant," complete with a drive thru window.

Museum Fun with Daddy

Mommy just realized she missed posting about my visit with Daddy to the Strong Museum of Play while Mommy was on her trip a few weeks ago. So, here they are! What a fun museum date I had with Daddy, including train and carousel rides and lunch at Pizza Hut in the food court!

A Day with Grammy Katie

Yesterday we had a quick visit with Grammy Katie while she was on her way home from a business trip to Syracuse. We spent most of the day in our jammies just relaxing and playing together, and Mommy didn't take many pictures at all. But she caught a couple of me chatting it up on Grammy's cell phone while lounging on her lap. I didn't want to get dressed because I was so excited for Grammy to see me wearing the special froggy jammies she gave me. Thanks for visitng Grammy!
